Arctic Business helps entrepreneurs develop extraordinary ideas with growing businesses nationally and internationally from northern Sweden. Since 2005, we have worked with over 170 companies, which today are valued at over SEK 2 billion and employ 370+ people full time. We are staffed in Luleå, Piteå and Skellefteå at each science park. Our owners are LTU Holding, Norrlandsfonden, Region Norrbotten, Luleå Municipality, Skellefteå Industrihus and Piteå Municipality.
Arctic Business runs Sweden’s northernmost tech incubator, the Arctic Business Incubator, and is an important player in the rapid business development in Norrbotten and Västerbotten, both areas driving the new industrialization and the extensive urban transformation.
By creating new successful growth and export companies, we contribute to increased attractiveness, strengthened competence and welfare in northern Sweden. Our vision is for Norrbotten and northern Västerbotten to be known as Sweden’s most attractive environment for entrepreneurs, innovative startups and investors in space, mining and energy.
